With so much bad information out there, it can be hard to know what foods are healthy and what foods aren’t.
They used to tell us that fat was bad for us. All of a sudden, the grocery store shelves were filled with low-fat this, and low-fat that.
Then the Atkins Diet came out and carbohydrates became the enemy. Everything was low carb. Low-carb chips. Low-carb cookies. Low-carb everything.
Now, for whatever reason, gluten has become the new target. There’s entire isles in grocery stores filled with gluten-free stuff.
The truth is, fat, carbs, and gluten aren’t bad for you. In fact, nothing in moderation is bad for you. But the things on this list have been marketed as healthy when, in reality, they’re really not.
